Natesh is well known for his blissful live kirtan and professionally recorded chants — a living example of the ecstatic heart. He has led kirtan at Bhakti Fest, Shakti Fest, Sedona Yoga Festival, and many other festivals and conferences, offering his devotional chanting internationally, particularly in India, Canada, and Serbia. His kirtan events have been described as "straight from the heart," "uplifting the heart," and "nourishing the soul." At Bhakti Fest, Natesh led the first-ever daily, deep-immersion Om Namah Shivaya chants each morning, and in recent years has offered his chanting as a backdrop for yoga classes at festivals, most notably with Mark Whitwell and Saul David Raye.

Drawn to Swami Muktananda's path in 1979, where he first experienced this profound spiritual practice, Natesh has held a deep connection to the transforming nature of kirtan ever since. In early 2004 he began "downloading chants from Source" on a regular basis — creating roughly 190 chants in all — and has since held over 700 public kirtan gatherings and, after the pandemic ended live programs in 2020, more than 300 online kirtan events. In 2014 he released his studio album Bliss of Kirtan, featuring musicians and singers well known to kirtan lovers in the West — called "a lovely and profound offering," "a realm of enchanted bliss," and "stunningly beautiful for the ear and for the soul."

Natesh met Mohanji in early 2016 and quickly recognized how deeply his own path was connected to the one Mohanji represents. He is well known within the Mohanji global family for his devotional chanting, and has written numerous chants dedicated to Mohanji — many of which are held in this archive, alongside an album and additional recordings only available digitally here.

He holds S.B. and S.M. degrees in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and spent most of his working life in the corporate world — the final chapter of which was building and running a small company around a patented musical instrument invention.
